This course we will be reading the new book Mentalization-Based Treatment with Families by Eia Asen and Peter Fonagy. It examines clinical practice with families and couples through a mentalizing lens. The book is filled with in-depth case illustrations that help parents, children, adolescents and couples overcome blocks in how they relate to one another. This is done by gaining a deeper understanding-of and openness-to each other’s experiences and points of view.
