A 2002 graduate of the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis in Los Angeles, California, is the current co-president of ICP (term ending 12/31/12) as well as a training and supervising analyst and teacher in the training program.

She is also a graduate of the three-year program, New Directions, A psychoanalytic writing and critical thinking program of The Washington (DC) Center for Psychoanalysis.

Clinically, Dr. Boxer has a background in early childhood development, mother and or /father/child relationship, and intervention/prevention at both on-site and home based agencies. Her current and on-going theoretical interest in contemporary psychoanalysis is based on the emphasis in the collaborative healing capacity of the analytic relationship incorporating the patient and analyst’s unique, subjective experiences.

Dr. Boxer works with adults and couples in her offices in Santa Monica and Woodland Hills.
